Solid 50, side outlet - 0,6 l/s innovative waste fitting for showers with a slim profile, edges reduced to the minimum, and an absence of gaps and grills, eliminating blocked traps.
Designed for simple cleaning, the direct water flow with drainage of up to 36 liters per minute also delivers self-cleaning capacity during regular use.
Conventional traps inside waste fittings are constructed on two levels which creates dead spaces that can’t be reached when cleaning, and with fixation bars around the flanges that catch hair. Typical flow speeds under the shower are too low to effectively remove debris independently.
Solid has no dead spaces or bars on the inside as the trap has been moved away from the siphon pan and designed similarly to a siphon under the washbasin – a bend in the supply pipe to the drain system ensures that water is always present and performs as a conventional trap.
This keeps the siphon pan free and ensures it is easy to access from the outside for cleaning, even using a spiral. Even in the pipes past the pan there are only direct routes that are rinsed clear by the flowing water, and no edges to catch debris, keeping cleaning to a minimum.
Solid is available in two models Solid 30 in 48 mm installation height (water seal depth of 30 mm) and Solid 50 in 68 mm installation height (water seal depth 50 mm). Despite the unique profile, meeting space shortages under the showers, the slim fitting maintains extremely effective drainage capacity of 0.6 l/s (36 l/min), easily meeting the typical flow rate of most commercial rain and shower sprays is 0.3 l/s – with reserve capacity.
